Hey team! It's been a while since I've posted anything, and for that I am sorry. I have been working quite a bit, and the few days I did have off I helped a friend move in and I slept. But the exciting this is that when I was working, we got a lot done! Some of the things that were accomplished, I can not actually talk about yet because we are still in pre production and there for if I were to speak about them I could get in trouble. But, the the thing I can talk about are boring to many but exciting to me! So in the last week or so I have worked on sound stuff, lighting, and just random manual labor. Mark, the systems designer that I have been working with had to leave for a bit to go work on another show, so I got to go work on team lighting! While on team lighting, I helped clean all of the lights that are used in the show, I was off the days they hung a majority of them, and helped cable a ton of them as well. I was working on the roofs of many of the buildings, and was in some pretty tight spaces, it was a good time. I also got to un dent all of the SM 58 Wireless Sure Microphones, clean the inner wind screen and then sew on the new wind screens. That took me a whole day, and I wasn't expecting it to. But everything is clean now! Yesterday, I hauled a ton of scrap wood and randomness away to be disposed of . I also had to move a 900+ lb garage door. That was a nightmare, a heavy, scary, nightmare. It took myself and two of my lovely co workers to get it up the walkway, and I am very grateful that it didn't get stuck anywhere. Today, I spent the day out of the sun terminating Cat6A cable that could have survived a bombing, it was crazy! I'll be posting a picture below of the before and after. It was a long day but there is a fun filled day planned for tomorrow.
